This is an imaginary artist! Anne Ling Demo creates atmospheric colour field paintings built from soft light, blurred horizons, and quiet tonal transitions. Her work uses colour as a space rather than an object, allowing violet, peach, indigo, rose, blue-grey, and pale yellow to dissolve into one another.

I paint atmosphere rather than image. I am interested in how colour can hold stillness, distance, and emotion. My work begins with light, then slowly becomes a field where tones meet, fade, and settle.
